Inter-university Certificate in Participatory Democracy
Belgium has become a real democratic laboratory. As a result, there is an increasing demand for expertise. The aim of this inter-university certificate is to provide participants, associations and institutions with training to help them reflect on and design innovative democratic projects.
It is organised by five partner universities: UCLouvain, UMons, ULB, ULiège and UNamur.
The strengths of the programme:
- A unique course in Belgium
- Specialised training based on a project-based approach
- Expert lecturers from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines
- Training designed to meet the needs and expectations of local people and the political will for participatory democracy.
The course is aimed at people from a wide range of backgrounds (citizens, associations, institutions, movements, etc.) involved in democratic debate in different capacities.
